The Computerised Machine Embroidery Process
These are the basic steps for creating the embroidery process with a computerised embroidery machine. At PSM we create a digitized embroidery design file at cost. We can edit the design and/or combine with other designs (optional). Our skilled operatives then load the final design file into the embroidery machine. We then stabilise the fabric and place it onto our Tajima Embroidery machines. The PSM staff start and monitor the embroidery machine during production. When the garments are completed they are then sent to our Quality Control Department.
On receipt of your artwork we can provide a digitised Jacquard Embroidery Tape depicting your clubs, societies or organisations logo.
Jacquard Embroidery Tape Originations
A Jacquard Tape is a digitised embroidery disc, which is required to transfer customer designs to a particular garment. The digitising of your logo is a specialised process and requires skilled artists and a programmers professional expertise to achieve the quality your garment deserves.
Your design does not have to be finished artwork, our artists can work from anything you supply and we will produce artwork for your approval before turning it into a Jacquard Embroidery Tape. There is a cost of £25.00 per artwork which is refundable when you order the embroidery tape logo.
Once the artwork has been approved it is scanned into a PC with digitising software installed. Our programmers will then proceed to convert the design into an embroidery tape format using their particular skill and knowledge of textiles to produce a logo you will be proud to wear.
The cost of Jacquard Tape origination varies according to the number of stitches in the design. The cost equates to £10.00 per 1,000 stitches contained in the logo. Origination costs are available on receipt of your artwork.
Our company policy is to embroider one logo - free of charge - fully inclusive of the garment cost once the Jacquard Embroidery Tape has been originated (minimum order requirement - 12 assorted garments).
